The Accountability on African SRHR Instruments Toolkit is designed to provide users with a curriculum which covers all the areas one needs to hold others - and themselves - accountable.
The toolkit unpacks the narratives which exist for various stakeholder groups who are often barred from inclusion and equality for various reasons. The premise is that understanding barriers means that we will be able to ensure human rights and accountability for all. There are several cross-cutting issues which are covered in the curriculum, as well as a section on Accountability Literacy, an analysis of the various types of existing commitments, and a deep-dive into twelve African and four Global commitments related to the SDGs, thus allowing the learner to map routes for real-world accountability.
