Sex Rights Africa launches Campaign for free sanitary wear at the SRHR Movement Building Forum in Johannesburg, South Africa

On Monday 10 December 2018, the Sex Rights Africa Network officially launched their campaign to bring free sanitary wear to all who need it.

Delegates at the SRHR Movement Building Forum handed over torches to High-level dignitaries, calling on them to advocate for:
support for free sanitary wear for everyone who needs it;
an immediate end to taxation on sanitary wear;
adequate sanitation;
locally and sustainably produced sanitary wear to be provided free of charge;
and for communities to be provided with opportunities to become partners in the production and sale of quality sanitary wear, contributing to skills development and creating work opportunities.
