Movement Builder – Dumiso Gatsha



Dumiso Gatsha is a part-time PhD (Law) candidate, Chartered Global Management Accountant with two Masters degrees specialising in Human Rights and Strategic Management respectively. Dumi has been a human rights defender for over 8 years having served the LGBTIQ+ community as an HIV/AIDS Peer Educator, Support Group focal board, on boards and as a research consultant. Dumi is the founder of Success Capital, an LGBTIQ+ youth led, managed and serving organisation. Dumi has worked for PwC, GIZ, Zurich and UNDP in areas of finance, strategy, research, governance and climate change. Dumi is a member of and Chair of the Human Rights Task Force of African Queer Youth Initiative and strategically serves the International Youth Alliance for Family Planning and African Network of Youth Policy Experts.
