Movement Builder - Robert Aseda Ouko
Robert is a passionate sexual and reproductive health and rights advocate with over six years’ experience in policy engagement at the national, regional and international levels. He is currently the Policy, Communications and External Relations Coordinator at the Network for Adolescents and Youth of Africa (NAYA KENYA), a youth led advocacy organization committed to sexual and reproductive health and rights advocacy for all young people including sexual and gender minorities. Robert has penned over 100 articles on youth SRHR that have been published in dailies and publications in Kenya and international platforms. He has extensively engaged with UN and Africa human rights mechanisms including United Nations Office of the Commissioner on Human Rights, treaty monitoring bodies, the Human Rights Council and the Africa Commission on Human and People’s Rights. Robert has also served as a Youth Advisor to Kenya Government during the forty eighth session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development in New York. Robert believes that everyone deserves the right to dignity and non-discrimination and envisions a world where SRHR for all are protected, promoted respected and fulfilled. Robert holds a Bachelors in Population Health and is pursuing a Communications Masters
