Movement Builder - Spiwe Dongo
Spiwe has four and a half years of experience in the nonprofit sector. She earned a Master of Science degree in Social Ecology and a Bachelor of Science Honors degree in Rural and Urban planning from the University of Zimbabwe and completed a diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Lund University in Sweden, and a certificate in Global Health and Humanitarianism with Manchester University. Spiwe works for Students and Youth Working on reproductive Health Action Team (SAYWHAT) coordinating its work in Southern Africa, convening the Southern African Regional Students and Youth Conference on sexual and reproductive health (SARSYC-SRH), and strengthening the capacity of students in advocacy work. She has particular interests in the areas of disability mainstreaming, meaningful youth participation, young women’s empowerment and movement building.
